(30-31 OCTOBER 2025) - İSTANBUL
Dear Academicians and Researchers,
Human historical experience always sheds light on those studying and conducting research in the social sciences, such as economics, law, business, history, and literature, as well as in other fields.
With this understanding, your participation will add value to this symposium, in which we hope that will make impact on contemporary understanding of the Akhi-order. It was very well practiced in Seljuk and Ottoman history and has made positive contributions to the economic and social life in many aspects. These issues will be discussed by making use of its historical sources.
On this occasion, we expect you to participate in the 2. International Symposium on “Touching Life with Akhi Order” (30-31 October 2025) – Istanbul with your valuable papers.

Notes
- Open to original studies from all branches of science that contribute to the Akhi literature, including research based on original sources related to the Akhi Order and contemporary practices of the Akhi tradition.
- Presentations may be delivered in Turkish, English, or Arabic.
- The symposium abstract book and proceedings book with ISBN will be published electronically.
Studies that complete the application and peer-review processes may be published in the Journal of Social Sciences of Istanbul Ticaret University, the Turkish Journal of Entrepreneurship of Istanbul Commerce University or the Journal of Academic Opinion.
